Droidcon Berlin 2012: Program online
02.02.2012 12:40
This year's edition of the Droidcon Berlin is about to kick off March 14. The program for the two-day Android conference is now online. For those who want to mingle with likeminded Android developers, Berlin offers the perfect location for mobile startups.
Droidcon has established itself as a significant institution in the Android universe. There are multiple tracks to choose from, the majority held in English. This year's keynote speech will be held by blogger Sascha Pallenberg. Google's Wike West and Richard Hyndman will also contribute with keynotes about new features in Android, probably emphasizing the fading away of the menu button.
Since the Droidcon was first held in 2009 it was also brough to other countries. Meanwhile, there is an edition in London, Brussels, Bucarest, Amsterdam and Bangalore. There are more destinations in the planning, say the Droidcon organizers.
Tickets are still available and with a price tag of under € 150 pretty attractive. The full program is available on the conference website. Similar to last year, there will be a barcamp held one day prior to the conference as well as a hackathon on March 11 and 12.
